How long have you been part of NAI Global?

We have been a member of NAI since April 2005.

If you are the owner, why did you choose to be part of the NAI Global network?

We wanted to have access to a platform to serve the needs of our local and regional clients on a national and international level. At the same time, we wanted to capitalize on the size of the NAI Global network, which has allowed us to receive assignments from all over the globe.

If you are a broker, why did you choose to join an NAI Member firm?

NAI Member firms offer a well-structured network with annual meetings, a good web platform and plentiful corporate services. There is a great pool of Member firms that share best practices and elevate the brand.

How has being part of the NAI Global network impacted your business?

As an owner, I have created a lot of contacts within the owners of firms in order to share with other owners my business issues and learn from them and their respective practices. We also have developed a national Canadian affiliation and shared web sites, as well as exposure at trade shows like ICSC. This improves our presence and expertise as owners and managers in our respective offices. It allows us to be more competitive and present in the market.

What is the biggest commercial real estate trend currently impacting your local market?

Consolidation and more competition of the industry on the brokerage side and a higher level of client expectations on the brokerage side.

How is your brokerage setting itself apart from its competitors? And, how is being part of the NAI Network helping you to set yourself apart?

We are brokers and owners and this is what differentiates us from the competition and we approach our client needs as if the properties were our own. Being part of NAI Global allows us to say we are part of the most recognized brands in commercial real estate as well as the number 1 network.
