NAI Global has added commercial real estate services in Slovenia and Croatia with the addition of NAI Significa, according to Jay Olshonsky, SIOR, FRICS and President of NAI Global, a leading global commercial real estate brokerage firm.

Based in Slovenia’s capital and largest city, Ljubljana, NAI Significa advisors specialize in office, retail, industrial and multifamily properties as well as investment land and business valuation. As one of the leading commercial real estate offices in the country, it employs a professional staff of 17 highly qualified experts.

Founded by Simon Kavka Jensterle and Andrej Lampe (both Chartered Valuation Surveyor’s from the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors -- RICS), the new NAI Office had formerly operated as Cenilna Druzba. Each man has 15 years of experience in the real estate industry with Mr. Kavka Jensterle focused on brokerage and transaction management work while Mr. Lampe’s expertise is in construction and project management. Matija Filiplič joined them in 2016 as a partner with a focus on corporate financial services.

NAI Significa will also serve neighboring Croatia from its Ljubljana office and plans to open an office in that Balkan country next year.

“While Slovenia is known for its mountains, ski resorts and lakes, it also has a thriving economy with strong demand for the types of commercial property, investors and occupiers we serve. We’re excited to have an expanded presence in Europe and particularly Eastern Europe,” said Jay Olshonsky.

Last year NAI Global opened eight new Offices in the U.S. and six international Offices. The international offices are in Vienna, Austria (NAI Austria), Sao Paolo, Brazil (NAI Brazil), Nicosia, Cypress (NAI Cypress), Guaynabo, Puerto Rico (NAI Puerto Rico) and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (NAI Saudi Arabia).
